System Integration/Portable Document iFont :
- Companies utilizing Arphic’s HiFont Technology: Canon Japan (Japanese Electronic Dictionary), Hitachi (HDTV).
- Companies utilizing Arphic’s iFont products: SATO Corporation (BarCode Label Printer), Haier Group China, Group Sense International Ltd. (Instant-Dict Electronic Dictionary).
- BenQ embeds Arphic’s Mobile Font (font technology aimed at mobile devices display) in its own mobile phone series.
- Ongoing efforts to develop iFont products to cover character glyphs all over the world. (Character glyphs used by 7 countries in the central Asia are absent at present).
Chinese font solutions :
- Bureau of National Health Insurance adopts Arphic’s bidirectional conversion tool for EUC code and Unicode in its second-generation national health insurance system.
- Chunghwa Post Corporation’s Chinese character glyphs and code conversion system for Computer Printing and Packaging Services adopts Arphic’s foreign word administration system to facilitate its e-mail printing and foreign words management.

PDF Solutions:Arphic develops PDF APIs, which now are adopted by government agencies and enterprises to serve various purposes.

- Securities and Futures Investors Protection Center adopts Arphic Document Management System (ADMS) for inner document control and query purposes.
- Announces Arphic UniFonts 2004, with the worldwide first Chinese font management tool included.

2003
System Integration/Portable Document iFont :
- Arphic’s iFont products are adopted in Japan Seiko’s IC Dictionary products (included in the Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese learning machine models).
- Supplies new iFont products for Hitachi USA (DTV), Canon Japan (Language Learning Machine), and Casio (Label Printer).
- Up to 20 renowned domestic companies opt Arphic’s iFont solution for their IA products this year. Now Arphic is in a close contact with IBM, BenQ, Wistron and Institute for Information Industry to build partnerships.
Chinese font solutions:
- Design project of Kai style character glyphs for CNS 11643 plane 6 and 7 from the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (the DGBSA).
- The implementation project of Java Swing components in the DGBAS’s Chinese common platform.
- The implementation project of Full Character Repository’s text transformation gateway and added components for the Chinese common platform from the DGBAS.
- Cooperates with the IQ Thchnology on the DGBAS Full Character Repository project to add input method and reading interface, character meanings, related phrases and phonetic symbols features.
PDF Solutions:Arphic’s PDF solutions are adopted by government agencies and enterprises.

- Arphic obtains exclusive license from Adobe to sell Acrobat products to governmental institutes.
- RDEC PDF customers include Bank of Taiwan, Taiwan Power, Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission, National Expressway Engineering Bureau, National Health Research Institutes, Chung-Hwa Telecom, Land Affairs Office, etc.
- Arphic introduces a variety of solutions for use of PDF in e-documents.
- Arphic IA fonts are adopted in Hitachi USA new digital TV
